Description: Nineteen flowers and two buds on six evenly distributed, mature, upright arching inflorescences up to 51.0 cm tall; plant, very robust and clean, 109.0 cm wide by 59.0 cm tall, grown in a 30.0-cm clay azalea pot filled with bark, perlite and charcoal; flowers base color chartreuse, changing to cream as they mature; sepals veined mahogany, petals veined distally light tan, spotted along veins with some coalescing becoming overlaid rose-mahogany distally; pouch chartreuse, overlaid rose-mahogany on front half below rim; staminode chartreuse, overlaid rose-mahogany centrally, margins hirsute, mahogany; substance firm; texture glossy; a beautifully clean plant.

Description: Six large, star-shaped, very balanced, full, round flowers on one branched, 29-cm, sequentially blooming inflorescence grown on a young monopodal, 2.5-cm plant grown in a 7.5-cm clear plastic pot containing New Zealand Sphagnum moss; the plant bearing four elliptic-obovate leaves up to 17cm long and up to 7.2cm wide, petiole wrapping around stem; growth 2.5cm long, compressed cylindrical stem; inflorescence originating from under the third oldest leaf; sepals and petals coerulea-violet, veins lighter coerulea-violet, basally and apically white; lip white, side lobes very light yellow, midlobe proximally coerulea-violet, distally hirsute; column white, faintly blushed coerulea-violet centrally, anther cap white; substance very firm; texture satiny; country of origin not known, this is from a seedling population; award recognizes large form of this rare color; also awarded a CHM/AOS, award number 20195339; based on the article in Orchid Digest Oct 2019, this matches the description of f. livida (Nov 2019).
